The summer has gone by so fast for us here at LeadershipEAD!  It's hard to believe the kids are back in school and my wonderful barn helper for the past 9 years is off to college today.  Kelly has been a blessing to me, not only in the help she provided me with the horses & dogs, but as a friend and daughter in many ways.  I will miss her.  I am proud & happy for the woman she's become and wish her all life's best as she moves into the next chapter of her life.

Friday we will conclude our 3rd Leadership/Teambuilding workshop with the doctors and administrators of Akron Children's Hospital.  The teams that have already completed their day with us have been filled with many learning's not just for them but for us as well.  Collaborating with the Deployment Leader of Organizational Effectiveness & Transformation has provided many insights of how the organization operates and has allowed us to tweak the training to provide greater learning for the participants.

We are preparing for our 6th Annual SAL Women's Leadership Conference for Indiana Apartment Association to be held at Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve in Fremont, Indiana.  We love the beauty of the Buffalo Preserve and the vast array of women that join us there each year.  This year IAA has added an addition 1 1/2 days for Men's Leadership.  

I'm sure everyone's life has been full & busy this year.  We just finished a huge addition & renovation to our home.  It was filled with many joys & frustrations as we lived in the dust during the complete process.  The contractors are gone and we love the new space we've created.  The challenge for me was in managing the huge project and maintaining a level of business.... which was more than difficult without an office.  I'm back in a beautiful office space and business for the year has been surprisingly good considering the lack of attention it received.
